Expert: Energy cooperation opens new prospects for Azerbaijan and Spain

Energy could become the most dynamic area of future cooperation between Azerbaijan and Spain, Spanish expert and President of the Pan-European Union Carlos Uriarte Sánchez said in the latest episode of the "Azerbaijan and the World" program broadcast on the AZERTAC website.
According to him, Azerbaijan plays a key role in diversifying Europe's energy supplies thanks to gas supplies via the Southern Gas Corridor.
The expert noted that, in addition to traditional energy resources, there is significant potential for cooperation in renewable energy sources. Specifically, this applies to solar and wind energy, where Spanish companies possess significant technological expertise and can participate in joint projects.
He believes that the development of such cooperation opens up opportunities for attracting investment, technology transfer, and expanding economic ties between the two countries.
