Famous Azerbaijani operetta “Cloth Peddler” performed in Vancouver

The globally renowned Azerbaijani musical comedy (operetta) “Arshın Mal Alan” (The Cloth Peddler) by outstanding Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli was staged at the Terry Fox Theatre in Vancouver, Canada.
The performance was organized by the “Tabriz” Azerbaijani Music and Dance Ensemble, as well as the “Turkuaz” Turkic Art and Culture Foundation, with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan and “EventTop Cloud Services.”
The “Tabriz” Azerbaijani Music and Dance Ensemble delivered a modern interpretation of the cultural repertoire.
