Feature-documentary film about gifted artist Maryam Alakbarli presented
Baku, March 12 (AZERTAC). The presentation of the feature-documentary film Maryam based on the screenplay of people`s writer Elcin was held at the UNS Creative Stage on Tuesday.
The events participants first saw the exhibition by main character of the film, famous young artist Maryam Alakbarli.
Speaking at the event, screen writer Elcin told of the reasons for shooting this film.
He noted that all works by Maryam Alakbarli are unique and different.
“We tried to bring to the notice of the wider audience the creative work of Maryam who is attracting attention of great artists with her talent in not only Azerbaijan but also but also the world,” he said.
The speaker also thanked founder and head of the UNS Creative Stage, rector of the Baku branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, prof. Nargiz Pashayeva for hosting such events.
Elcin introduced to the audience the film crew including film directors Elmeddin Aliyev and Khayyam Abdullayev, directors of photography Elman Aliyev and Rauf Gurbanaliyev, production designers Maryam Alakbarli, Aziz Mammadov and composer Khayal Mammadov.
The film was made by the Azerbaijanfilm film studio in Baku and Paris.
The film was presented to the audience.
The feature part of the movie is titled “Secret” and the documentary piece “Dance of colours with white ships.”
The presentation was followed with remarks by Nargiz Pashayeva.
She noted that Maryam is a very unique and talented person. Pashayeva said that Maryam`s world is very rich. She praised the initiative to dedicate the film to such a good person as Maryam. Pashayeva thanked Elcin for such an initiative. She also thanked the crew for the work they have done and wished them every success in their creative activities. The Rector praised how the actress played her part in the movie.
Pashayeva expressed gratitude to Maryam`s parents for teaching her what the hard work is because all great artists achieve success through hard work.
Pashayeva congratulated the event participants on the Novruz holiday. She called on them to pay more attention to Maryam`s work Semeni.
