FINLAND KEEN IN EXPANSION RELATIONS WITH AZERBAIJAN
In the information received by AzerTAj from the press center of the ministry, it is stated that the ambassador has expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijan side for the help rendered to him during diplomatic activity, and fruitful cooperation. Having emphasized, that Azerbaijan is the important country in region of the Southern Caucasus, the diplomat has told that Finland is interested in development of relations with Azerbaijan in political, economic, cultural and other spheres. In this connection, he has emphasized importance of the organization of mutual working visits of representatives of the governments and parliaments. Having reminded, that in due time level with brothers of Noble the Finnish oilmen also worked at the oil branch of Azerbaijan, the ambassador has especially noted, as now they take direct participation in investing into our country.
Highly having estimated the connections between our countries, minister Elmar Mammadyarov has declared that Azerbaijan attaches special significance to development of widespread cooperation with Finland, has emphasized necessity of strengthening of interstate economic relations.
The head of foreign policy department of Azerbaijan has wished the ambassador successes in the further activity.
