First edition of “IRS-Warisan” magazine published in Indonesia
Jakarta, June 20 (AZERTAC). The first edition of the Indonesian version of the “Irs” magazine titled “IRS-Warisan” has been published.
The first page of the magazine features a message of Editor-in-Chief of the “IRS-Warisan” magazine Musa Marjanli to readers.
He says the aim of publishing the magazine is to inform Indonesian people about Azerbaijan’s rich historical-cultural heritage, culture, literature, cuisine, tourism potential and the country’s development prospects.
There is also an article by Azerbaijani ambassador to Indonesia Tamerlan Garayev which was dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the establishment of Azerbaijan-Indonesia diplomatic ties.
The article provides an insight into the history of the diplomatic ties between the two countries and notes that close friendship ties have been established between the two countries.
The first edition also issued an article by Indonesian ambassador to Azerbaijan Prayono Atiyanto dedicated to Azerbaijani culture.
The article highlights Azerbaijani rich culture and recent rapid development.
The articles also focus on Azerbaijani national movement of liberation, faced problems after regaining the independence, the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, return of national leader Heydar Aliyev to the power, “the contract of the century” which played a key role in restoration and development of Azerbaijan’s economy.
The edition also gives information about the first democracy in the Muslim East, the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, as well as army building in modern Azerbaijan, the ancient Azerbaijani land of Karabakh, national customs and traditions.
