First International Novruz Festival continues in Baku
Baku, March 21 (AZERTAC). The First International Novruz Festival yesterday has kicked off in Icherisheher (Old city), Baku.
The event was initiated by “Icharishahar” State Historical and Architectural Reserve.
The three-day festival has been joined by lots of local and foreign tourists. The festival features Maidan Bazaar arranged near the Gosha Gala Gates, which demonstrates products of national craftsmanship and decorative arts, as well as souvenirs. During the festival days residents and guests of Baku will have an opportunity to enjoy many interesting events, including performance of pehlevans (Azerbaijani wrestlers), rope-walkers and magicians, the Children’s Theater artists. The visitors will also be able to listen to mugham and classical music pieces, national songs of different nations, modern pop and jazz music.
