FM OF AZERBAIJAN TO MAKE A WORKING VISIT TO STRASBOURG

Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov will make a working visit to Strasbourg on 6 May.

Minister Mammadyarov on May 7 will participate at the Council of Europe Ministerial Committee’s 118th plenary meeting, to be attended by the foreign ministers of more than 30 countries, to discuss the situation in the South-Eastern Europe and debate the CoE recommendations on stability and security of Europe.

In the meeting, the presidency at the CoE Ministerial Committee for the coming six months will pass from Slovakia to Sweden.

In the frame of his visit, Mr. Mammadyarov is said to meet with his Armenian counterpart Edvard Nalbandyan. The meeting is of familiarization character and is to be joined also by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.
