FOODEX Japan 2014 exhibition presented in Khachmaz
Baku, Sept 6 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani producers and importers of food and beverages are waiting for the traditional FOODEX Japan Exhibition slated for 4-7 March 2014. The presentation of the exhibition was held in the Khachmaz regional center of the Ministry of Economic Development on September 6.
The presentation was supported by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO). The presentation was conducted by staffers of the Moscow representative office of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
JETRO representative Pavel Petukhov provided an insight into the FOODEX Japan Exhibition.
FOODEX Japan is Asia's largest annual food exhibition held since 1976. It is open for food and beverage companies from developing countries interested in introducing their products to the Japanese market. Participants in the JETRO Zone can benefit from reduction in board participation, consultation with the Japanese market experts, and other support and services. JETRO zone pavilion is organized by JETRO in FOODEX Japan, a program of support for companies in developing countries to enter the Japanese market. In 2013, the exhibition was attended by 2,433 exhibitors. The exhibition was visited by more than 71 thousand people.
JETRO is a government-related organization that works to promote mutual trade and investment between Japan and the rest of the world.
The cost of participation in the exhibition (including the costs of bank transfers) is $ 1,025 ($ 525 for companies from the least developed countries).
