FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS WITH NATO PA SUB-COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN
Mr. Vahit Erdem informed on the meetings held in the frame of visit in Baku. He stressed necessity of settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict and ensuring of safety in region. He gave high assessment to steps Azerbaijan makes to integrate to the European structures, made accent on cooperation with the country.
Minister Mammadyarov said integration of Azerbaijan into the Euro-Atlantic structures is priority in the foreign policy of Republic. Development of relations in this direction serves the interests of Azerbaijan, he emphasized.
Speaking of socio-economic development of country, Mr. Mammadyarov said expansion of the large-scale economic projects would be of vital importance for entire region. The frozen conflicts are source of danger in region and seriously hamper safety and stability, he stressed.
Touching upon negotiations of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the Minister gave detailed information on the ethnic cleanse policy of Armenia and the sequences of aggression. Elmar Mammadyarov stressed necessity of settlement of the conflict on the principles of international law, in the frame of Azerbaijan Constitution.
