French online newspaper publishes article on France-Azerbaijan energy partnership

Paris, July 4 (AZERTAC). French online newspaper www.fr.globalvoicesonline.org has published an article on France-Azerbaijan partnership entitled “France-Azerbaijan: for partnership in energy sphere”.

The article describes French president François Hollande`s recent Baku trip as the beginning of a new era of economic and energy cooperation between France and Azerbaijan. The article stresses Azerbaijan`s role in transportation of energy resources from the Caspian basin to the European market, and hails the country`s contribution to ensuring Europe`s energy security.

The newspaper notes that presidents François Hollande and Ilham Aliyev discussed energy cooperation.

The article also features remarks by former French minister of transport Thierry Mariani, who stresses the importance of projects implemented in Azerbaijan to develop the non-oil sector.
