Ganja hosts 1st International Youth Forum of EYP Azerbaijan
Ganja, August 21 (AZERTAC). The 1st International Youth Forum of EYP Azerbaijan “Create Innovative Future, Reshape the World” organized by the ASAN Volunteers Youth Organization and European Youth Parliament (EYP) in Azerbaijan has today started in Ganja.
The aim of the forum, which brings together 70 youth from 15 countries, is to show initiative to integration between Azerbaijan and European countries, strengthening processes of knowledge and exchange, social activity of Azerbaijani youth and their participation in social projects.
Addressing the forum, head of the Ganja City Executive Authorities Elmar Valiyev stressed the importance of the event, and called the youth to be active in discussions. He also informed the attendees on work done to increase the activities of the youth in Ganja, which was selected as the European Youth Capital 2016.
The attendees discussed a number of issues, including “How European countries can provide equal educational opportunity, taking into consideration the cultural and socio-economic diversity of European societies?”
The forum will end on August 24.
