Ganja hosts opening ceremony of European Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics

The 14th European Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics (seniors) kicked off at the Ganja Sports Palace.
AZERTAC's regional correspondent reports that senior category gymnasts will perform in individual, trio, group, mixed pair and aerodance programs. The qualifying round will take place over the first two days of the competition, with the finals scheduled for the last day.
The competition officially began today, featured a formal opening ceremony where the flags of the participating countries were presented.
The ceremony included remarks by Niyazi Bayramov, Head of the Ganja City Executive Power, and Edvard Kolar, Vice President of the European Gymnastics Organization, followed by the artistic presentation, "Nizami's Treasure," dedicated to the eternal works of Nizami Ganjavi.
Following the artistic program, the gymnasts began their performances, with individual programs scheduled for today. The competition is slated to conclude on November 16.
