Geopolitica magazine interviews Deputy Head of Mission at Italian Embassy in Baku
Baku, February 10 (AZERTAC). Italian Geopolitica magazine has posted an interview with Deputy Head of Mission at the Italian Embassy in Baku, Gulia Gullotti, about Azerbaijan.
In her interview, Gullotti stressed the importance of TAP project. She said Azerbaijan`s choosing TAP project to deliver its gas to Europe was of particular significance in terms of diversification of regional energy sources.
On the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Gullotti said the unresolved dispute was posing a serious threat to transnational security. She said despite the fact that negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict had been going on for more than 20 years no results had yet been achieved.
The Deputy Head of Mission noted the role of Azerbaijan in supporting NATO troops in Afghanistan as part of ISAF Mission.
She also praised tolerance in Azerbaijan, calling it a model to follow for other countries.
