GUAM Secretariat holds meeting of Working Group on Culture and Tourism
Baku, April 23 (AZERTAC). GUAM Secretariat hosted the 2nd Meeting of the Working Group on Culture and Tourism, which involved representatives of the relevant ministries and departments of GUAM member states, embassies and tourism agencies.
Azerbaijan was represented by deputy minister of culture and tourism Nazim Samadov, counselor of the Embassy Nazim Aliyev and consultant of the Ministry Tamerlan Akhundov.
The meeting heard reports on latest developments in the culture and tourism sphere in the CIS member states. The participants discussed a wide range of issues, including the establishment of mechanisms of information and statistical data exchange. They considered the course of the implementation of the Action Plan of the Working Group for 2013-2014. The meeting also featured discussions on the development of new projects in the field of culture and tourism in the GUAM+ format.
