Hall of Philosophers of Rome`s Capitoline Museum opens
Baku, October 26 (AZERTAC). An opening ceremony of the Hall of Philosophers of Rome`s Capitoline Museum, which was repaired supported by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, was held.
On the sidelines of the event Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Italy Vagif Sadigov met Mayor of Rome Ignazio Marino. They explored ways of developing cooperation between Baku and Rome, and discussed Azerbaijan-Italy economic and cultural relations.
They praised the repair of the Hall of Philosophers of Rome`s Capitoline Museum, saying the contribution of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation will strengthen friendship between the two countries.
Following the ceremony Sadigov and Marino held a joint press conference.
The Azerbaijani Ambassador said: “Italy has been the main trade partner of Azerbaijan for many years.”
Sadigov lauded the role of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in developing relations between Baku and Rome.
Marino praised the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s contribution to repairing the Hall of Philosophers of Rome`s Capitoline Museum. He said this will help develop the cultural relations between the two countries.
