Heletey appointed Ukrainian Defence Minister

Kyiv, July 3 (AZERTAC). Members of the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday supported the appointment of Valeriy Heletey as Minister of Defence of Ukraine.

260 lawmakers voted in favor of the decision.

The Verkhovna Rada also dismissed Mykhailo Koval as Defence Minister.

The minister-elect took the oath in parliament.
