Heydar Aliyev Alley inaugurated in Ingushetia
Moscow, November 7 (AZERTAC). An Alley named after national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev has been inaugurated in Malgobek, Ingushetia, as part of a series of events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the city`s founding.
Speaking at the event, President of Ingushetia Yunus-bek Yevkurov noted the role of “prominent statesman and politician” Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan's development.
“This Alley symbolizes the indestructible bonds of friendship and unity of the peoples of Russia and Azerbaijan. He's one of the best sons of the people of Azerbaijan, who left behind a good name.”
Yunus-Bek Yevkurov hailed the involvement of the Azerbaijani diaspora in social and political life of the region as active.
