Consultations between the consular services of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry and the Foreign Ministry of Belarus were held in Budapest. As stated, Hungarian side initiated the consultations.

The agenda included discussions of the issues on mutual visits of the citizens of both countries after Hungary will join the Schengen agreement, data exchange on the acting national procedures and novelties in the visa and migration policy, the question of tax collections on issuing visa, exchange of experience in the said sphere.

Also were held negotiations at the department of migration and citizenship of he Justice Ministry of Hungary.
