ICYFDC ISSUES STATEMENT CONDEMNING ARMENIAN CRIMES
The Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYFDC) has issued a statement condemning Armenia`s crimes against Azerbaijanis.
The statement says Armenians have been killing Azerbaijani soldiers and innocent people despite the two countries agreed to ceasefire in 1994.
Concerning recent events in Armenia, the statement says the country is trying to draw international attention away from their crimes against its citizens who were peacefully demonstrating against the results of false presidential elections.
The statement calls on the Organization for the Islamic Conference (OIC) to condemn Armenia`s moves and to call on OIC member countries to combine efforts to force Armenia to fulfill the UN Security Council`s and OIC`s resolutions demanding unconditional withdrawal of Armenian forces from Azerbaijan`s occupied territories.
In the statement, the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation also calls on the International Youth Movement “Youth for the Alliance of Civilizations” to inform the international community about the truth concerning Armenia`s crimes.
The statement also stresses that Armenian president-elect Serzh Sargsyan`s policy can be a great blow to the situation in the South Caucasus, which plays huge role in the world`s energy security.
