INTERNAL MINISTER HELD OPERATIVE MEETINGS IN DISTRICTS
Participants of operative meetings with a minute of silence have honored bright memory of our national leader Heydar Aliyev, AzerTAj correspondent reports.
Opening the meetings with an opening address, Minister of Internal Affairs has told about the consecutive measures which have been carried out by our national leader Heydar Aliyev during management of our independent republic with a view of reorganization of activity of law enforcement bodies, including police, about legal reforms conducted in our country, merits of police in business of protection of statehood and stability. The Minister has reminded about the decrees and orders signed by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev concerning law-enforcement bodies, has especially emphasized the statement for the first time in the history of home police “State program concerning improvement of activity of bodies of police of the Azerbaijan Republic (2004-2008) ”.
Further, the Minister has noted, that within six months of the current year in republic consecutive work has been carried out in the field of struggle against criminality, protection and maintenance of social order, operative conditions was, as a whole, under the control. As a result of the conducted operative - search actions, have been done responsible 6004 persons who have made various crimes, 2583 persons as wanted, including 108 criminals disappearing in the countries CIS are detained, were disclosed 280 crimes accomplished last years.
Chiefs of departments of police Agdam, Barda, Terter and Shusha districts have informed at operative meetings on results of half-year. It has been marked, that in the said arrears tens criminal groups were exposed, cases of such grave crimes as robbery, kidnapping, even more strengthened struggle against illegal circulation of narcotics, is collected the weapon illegally stored at the population.
Participants of meetings have expressed gratitude to the head of our state for increase of monthly official salaries of employees of police and the civil staff in system of law-enforcement bodies.
