Baku October 8 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan Micro-finance Association organized an “Investors Fair” on October 7, 2009.

The Fair focused on government strategy on MFIs and banks, how investors, banks and MFIs can successfully manage key financial risks in today’s market and thirdly client protection in practice.

Investor companies as “Triple Jump”, Blue Orchard”, “Planet Finance”, “Oiko Credit”, International Finance Corporation and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development attended the conference.

Executive director of Micro-finance Association Zhala Hajiyeva spoke of the importance of the Fair in guarantee of relations, exchange of ideas, establish potential business relations, meet potential clients.

The sessions of the fair devoted to risk management and protection of consumers.

Norwegian ambassador to Azerbaijan Jon Ramberg, USAID Country Coordinator Scott Taylor, also representatives of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic (ASK), ministries, committees and international companies participated at the conference.

Finally, a private fair was held for investors.
