“Iran and Azerbaijan already achieved solidarity”

Iran and Azerbaijan already achieved solidarity, said Manouchehr Mottaki, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
The former Minister applauded this idea taken by President Ilham Aliyev, adding that to achieve the solidarity means to achieve peace and prosperity. He praised the event on Islamic solidarity and Iranian-Azerbaijani friendship held in Tehran. “Both countries share same religion, history and tradition that contribute to development of relations,” he added. The former Minister said declaring the year of 2017 a year of Islamic Solidarity and holding the Islamic Solidarity Games is an important step in terms of calling world Muslims to solidarity.
