IRAN’S AMBASSADOR MEETS MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES OF AZERBAIJAN
Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Afshar Suleymani met with the media representatives of Azerbaijan in connection with completion of his diplomatic mission in the country.
Noting that he departs from Azerbaijan with nice impressions, the Ambassador emphasized that in the period of his activity he always respected sovereignty of the country, its territorial integrity, just like the independence and territorial integrity of Iran. “I always promote development of the relations between Iran and Azerbaijan”, Mr. Suleymani stressed.
The Ambassador said that in the period of his activity in the country were achieved important successes in bilateral relations, noting that President Ilham Aliyev has huge merits in the mentioned direction. He noted that last years the presidents of both countries attach special attention to the preservation of ties at the level of friendship and neighborhood. At his words, thanks to them, these relations have notably strengthened.
The Ambassador said that the development, prosperity of Azerbaijan is equal for him just like the prosperity of Iran and expressed gratitude the media representatives for fruitful cooperation in the period of his activity.
