ISSF President hails Azerbaijani youth's interest in sports

“I have eye witnessed Azerbaijani youth's great interest in sports. I am very pleased to visit Gabala, a city of mysterious beauty,” President of the International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF) Olegario Vazquez Rana told journalists in Gabala, which is hosting International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF) World Cup Final.
He hailed technical base of Gabala Shooting Club. “Gabala Trap Shooting and Archery Complex is located in a beautiful place, surrounded by mountains and forests.”
He also applauded the Azerbaijani government`s attention and care to sports.
"Azerbaijan has made outstanding accomplishments in a number of sports including shooting. Azerbaijani athletes win medals at international competitions. I participated in the opening ceremony of the first European Games in Baku. The Games were excellently organized,” the ISSF President said.
