Italian leading newspaper “La Nazione” posts article about Azerbaijan
Rome, October 30 (AZERTAC). Italia`s leading newspaper “La Nazione” has published an article entitled “Oil, gas and skyscrapers. Azerbaijan attracts the world”.
The article notes Head of State Ilham Aliyev won presidential elections by collecting the overwhelming majority of votes. It underlines that representatives of many international organizations praised the elections as transparent and democratic.
The author also speaks about the capital of Azerbaijan, which he called “modern” and “beautiful”.
The author says specific architectural buildings in Baku fascinate everybody. The newspaper describes Baku as an important strategic city.
On the country`s role to ensure energy security of Europe, the article touches upon a project concerning the transport of Azerbaijani gas via Italia`s territory. The author says revenues from energy are spent to developing non oil sector. Dynamic progress of Azerbaijan`s economy, increasing of GDP and creation of new jobs were also hailed by the author.
