Baku, October 6 (AZERTAC). ITU TELECOM WORLD 2009 exhibition-conference started in Geneva, on October 5. The event is organized by International Telecommunication Union.

Delegation led by minister of Communication and Information Technology Ali Abbasov is representing Azerbaijan at the conference.

Azerbaijan will present exhibits reflected achievements in information-communication technologies area, satellite and other regional projects.

The presentation of East-West Information super-line in ministers meeting and organization of Azerbaijan day will be held as part of the exhibition.

The 5-day forum will bring together representatives of 700 companies from 40 countries, state and government officials as well as UN Secretary General.
