MEETING WITH SPEAKER OF FEDERATION COUNCIL OF RUSSIA HELD AT BSU
Chairman of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of Russia Sergey Mironov met with the teaching staff and students of the Baku Slavonic University (BSU). BSU rector, Kamal Abdullayev updated the delegation on the structure and activity of the University, Russian language teaching and training of specialists.
Rector dwelt on the BSU’s ties with the higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation.S. Mironov told of his meetings held during his visit and highlighted Azerbaijan’s role in gaining a victory in the World War II.
He said the dialogue between the two presidents is very positive. Trade turnover grew by 50 percent. However, the success of the economic interaction, according to him, depends on the humanitarian cooperation as well.
