A delegation of Milli Majlis (parliament) led by the head of working group on Azerbaijani-Ukrainian inter-parliamentary relations Farrux Zeynalov is paying a visit to Kiev. The delegation is comprised of members of working group - Adil Aliyev, Rovshan Rzayev and Ali Masimli.

On March 14, chairman of the Ukrainian Supreme Rada Alexander Moroz received Azerbaijani deputies.

At the meeting, the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament talked about socio-political situation in his country, expressed aspiration to expand and deepen inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two friendly countries.

Farrux Zeynalov conveyed to Alexander Moroz warm greetings of Ogtay Asadov, Chairman of Milli Majlis, thanked him for hospitality and informed about meetings with his Ukrainian colleagues on pressing questions concerning prospects of mutual relations.

During the meeting, Azerbaijani deputies exchanged opinions with the Ukrainian speaker on expansion of cooperation between the Supreme Rada and Milli Majlis, on legislative sphere and on other questions.

Both parties expressed unanimous opinion on necessity of establishment of the Azerbaijani-Ukrainian Inter-parliamentary Assembly.
