MINISTER OF EMERGENCIES MEETS WITH GTZ BAKU OFFICE CHIEF

Azerbaijan Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov met with head of the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) enterprise’s coordination office in Baku Franz Heinzmann.

Mr. Heydarov said the negotiations are continuing between his ministry and German Government to establish cooperation in a number of spheres.

The Minister noted his meeting with Franz Heinzmann will give the impetus to further enhancement of cooperation between Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations and German companies.

Mr. Heinzmann described the bilateral relations between Germany and Azerbaijan as rapidly developing.

He recalled Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s February visit to Berlin, and said it marked a new phase in the development of ties between the two countries.

The meeting ended with the signing of a memorandum of understanding.
