Moroccan newspaper publishes article about national leader Heydar Aliyev
Baku, December 13 (AZERTAC). Moroccan newspaper Al-Islah and at-Tanmiya (Reform and Development) has published an article devoted to Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Titled “10 years passes since death of national leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev”, the article provides an insight into meaningful and rich life of the Great Leader, his inestimable merits before the people, as well as large-scale reforms he carried out in the country.
The author touches upon national leader Heydar Aliyev`s tireless efforts to strengthen Azerbaijan`s independence, to restore national statehood and to ensure stability and peace. “As a result of those efforts, today Azerbaijan is a leader country of the region,” the article notes.
The newspaper also briefs on the Great Leader`s successful reforms in the field of energy, and his effective oil strategy. The author says that due to Heydar Aliyev`s wise policy, the Contract of the Century was signed in 1994 with foreign companies. The article praises the national leader`s foreign policy strategy, describing it as a “course based on national interests”.
The author says national leader Heydar Aliyev always attached great importance to develop the relations with the Arab countries.
Azerbaijan`s role in providing European energy security is stressed in the article, too.
The article draws attention of readers to successful democratic, socio-economic reforms conducted under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, a worthy successor of the political course of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The newspaper writes that today Azerbaijan has reached a dynamic development and the country became a reliable partner on the international arena.
Finally, the article recalls that every year great leader Heydar Aliyev`s memory is honored both in Azerbaijan and abroad, adding “his memory will always live in the hearts”.
