“MUSHFİQ” SUBSTATİON PUT INTO OPERATION
Within the framework of Japan’s General Aid Program “Increasing power and Reconstruction of 220-kilovolt Mushfiq electric power substation” project was completed.
Etibar Pirverdiyev, head of Azerenerji Joint Stock Company on February 15 spoke about Azerbaijan`s nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev`s care for power engineering in Azerbaijan in the opening ceremony of the substation. He said Japan Bank for International Cooperation allocated grant to increase power of the Substation and to reconstruct it during Heydar Aliyev`s visit to this country. He also added after Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev`s visit to Japan bilateral relations between the two countries have been intensified.
“The first stage of the "Shimal" Electric Power Station was built on the allocation of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation and preparation works for the second electric circuit of the Power Station is on the verge of being completed”- he said.
He also noted Mushfiq substation would increase the quality of energy supply of Sabael, Yasamal and Nasimi regions of Baku.
Nail Fataliyev, an official of the Cabinet of Minister expressed his gratitude to Japan Bank for International Cooperation the allocation.
Japan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Masamitsu Oki addressing the event said the political course founded by Heydar Aliyev has been successfully continuing by incumbent Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and this course has drawn world countries into cooperation with economically developing Azerbaijan.
