NATIONAL HOLIDAY OF FRANCE MARKED
National anthems of Azerbaijan and France were performed.
The ambassador of France in our country Mr. Roland Blatman, acting on ceremony, has noted, that both France and Azerbaijan are carriers of democratic values. “Azerbaijan and France - the friendly states and I am confident, that political, economic relations between two countries, and also cooperation in the field of culture, sciences, education will develop steadily henceforth”, the diplomat has emphasized.
Acting on ceremony, chairman of Milli Majlis Murtuz Alaskarov has conveyed congratulations of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of significant day, his wish of the peace and calmness to the French people.
Speaker of Azerbaijan parliament has noted, that relations between Azerbaijan and France have the deep historical roots, a new pulse for which became establishment in 1992 of diplomatic relations between the countries.
Chairman of Milli Majlis has assessed activity of the leadership of France on settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorny Karabakh problem.
At the reception also were present the officials of the Azerbaijan state and government, ambassadors of foreign countries in Baku, public representatives
