NEWS CONFERENCE OF “TOSHIBA EUROPE GMBH” HELD
As was stated, opening the press conference was the president AZEL Igor Jakovenko who told about the state care in development of private sector in Azerbaijan, value of cooperation with the company “Toshiba Europe GmbH” in development of computer technology, about the work done to this day and long-term plans. He especially noted that in Azerbaijan, as well as in other branches of economy, development of computer technology is connected with political stability established in the country thanks to the national leader Heydar Aliyev and reliably protected by President Ilham Aliyev. Speaking about the tasks following from the Decree of the President, connected to economic development of the Country, he told that the Company supervised by him in this connection has prepared a plan of measures.
In his statement, he emphasized that AZEL is one of most specialized companies on the Caucasus, that they have started to realize notebook "Toshiba" since 1998, and in 2002 computers of this mark alongside with Azerbaijan have received the right to be realized also in Georgia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrghyzstan, informed, that they plan to carry out a number of measures for expansion of the consumer market.
The chief manager of department of personal computers of the Moscow office of the company “Toshiba Europe GmbH” Igor Snitko has in detail informed on position hold by the Company in the world, in particular, in the markets of Europe and the CIS countries. He noted that on the market of computer technologies, there is plenty of equipment illegally delivered.
In conclusion, he once again expressed confidence that AZEL is the Company providing Azerbaijan and other countries where it functions, the best on the quality computers to which the guarantee of reliability is given.
