Nizami Ganjavi International Center joins global discussions at Delphi Economic Forum

The Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC) participated as a partner in the 11th Delphi Economic Forum held in the city of Delphi, Greece.
The Forum brought together world leaders, politicians and experts as a global platform dedicated to enhancing international cooperation against the backdrop of geopolitical fragmentation, climate risks and new realities of the digital era.
The Center was represented at the Forum by Volkan Bozkır, President of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, President of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, Yves Leterme, former Prime Minister of Belgium, Tzipi Livni, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Charles Michel, former President of the Council of Europe, Amr Moussa, former Secretary General of the Arab League, and Kiril Petkov, former Prime Minister of Bulgaria.
During the forum, the members of the Center engaged in high-level panels and discussions, exchanging views on key issues of the global agenda. Discussions addressed topical issues such as Europe's future, new cooperation models, global security, and geopolitical balance.
Forum participants discussed the Middle East developments, the role of multilateral institutions, including the UN's importance in the new world order, global economic transformations, and positioning in the digital era.
The forum also included special sessions featuring discussions on the strategic stability of Europe, the future of international relations amid global fragmentation, as well as issues of peace and security.
As part of the event, the NGIC Secretary General held a number of high-level bilateral meetings. During the meetings with Željka Cvijanović, Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alexandra Papadopoulou, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Head of the King Faisal Center for Islamic Research and Studies, and Paolo Gentiloni, former European Commissioner and former Italian Prime Minister, the sides exchanged views global challenges, opportunities for mutual cooperation, as well as the Center's upcoming activities.
