Norwegian newspaper: Azerbaijan is falsely accused

The Norwegian influential newspaper “Aftenposten” has published an article by Chairwoman of Cultural bridge builder organization (CAN), Azerbaijani diaspora activist Shervin Najafpour headlined “Azerbaijan is falsely accused”.
The article exposes the lies of Armenians about the alleged "humanitarian disaster" faced by Armenians in Karabakh.
The author, based on the evidence about everyday life of Armenian residents of Karabakh collected from social media, debunks groundless claims that Armenians in Karabakh are allegedly under blockade after the establishment of the Lachin state border check point.
The article emphasizes that Azerbaijan is falsely accused of isolating Armenian residents living Karabakh from the rest of the world without success to food, water, medicine, fuel and electricity. The author notes that Azerbaijan is willing to meet all the needs of Armenians, offering to use the open road between the district of Aghdam and Khankendi for the transportation of goods. “However, the "humanitarian crisis" and "blockade" claims by Armenians who did not accept this proposal are pure political manipulation,” Shervin Najafpour emphasizes.
The author also mentions that Armenian media, as well as some patrons of Armenians, are trying to benefit from these political manipulations and exaggerate Armenian lies.
The article, based on the evidence about everyday life of Armenian residents of Karabakh collected from social media by Najafpour, completely exposes the lies that they are living under a "blockade" and facing a "humanitarian disaster". “Khankendi seems to be dream destination based on my social media findings. I hope Norwegian journalists take the initiative to investigate,” the author underlines.
Guivami Rahimli, PhD, Professor at Baku State University, Senior Government Affairs Advisor, bp AGT Region, who also served as president of the Azerbaijan-Norway Friendship Society, commenting on the article by Azerbaijani diaspora activist Shervin Najafpour said: “The Armenian tradition of fabrication of the historical facts, as well as exaggeration of biased claims, especially when it comes to their suffering, continues to this day. The Armenian-style fake news quickly finds its way to media outlets drawing attention of the international community. Just like during the Spitak earthquake in Armenia, as mentioned by RFE/RL “..The Armenian Earthquake Rescue That Was Too Good To Be True”. The Armenian fabricated news continues spreading the same old way today. But as the old saying goes: “A witness saves lives when he tells the truth; when he tells lies, he betrays people.”
