Novruz holiday celebrated in Estonia

The Novruz holiday was celebrated in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, organized by the Estonia–Azerbaijan “Birlik” (Unity) Community.
The event began with the playing of the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Estonia. During the evening, leaders of the “Birlik” Community, Zakir Miriyev and Sanam Ali, delivered remarks on the national and spiritual values of the Novruz holiday.
The celebration continued with a musical program. Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shola Safaraliyeva, pianist Vasif Huseynov, accordion master Elnur Imanov, and lead singer Ilgar Shahmammadov added special color to the event with their performances.
A special program and gifts for children, prepared by Honored Artist Rauf Afsharov, were also presented during the evening.
As part of the celebration, Azerbaijani national customs and traditions, national values, and Novruz as a symbol of unity were showcased to both the younger generation and the Estonian public.
The event was attended by nearly 300 compatriots living in Estonia, as well as guests. Among them were representatives of the Embassies of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in Estonia, members of parliament from Latvia, and representatives of Turkic communities operating in Estonia.
