Baku, November 29 (AZERTAC). The national strategy for ICT development in Azerbaijan in 2003-2012 laid foundation for transition to information society in Azerbaijan, said department chief of the Public Administration Academy Azad Abbaszade.

The strategy facilitated establishment of such companies as Nord, Ulduz, EHM, Azon, Bullur, Peyk as well as over 30 other electronic and instrument-making plants in Nakhchivan, Mingachevir, Terter, Shirvan, Ganja, Sumgait and Baku.
