Paraguayan Parliament issues statement supporting territorial integrity of Azerbaijan

The Chamber of Deputies of National Congress of the Republic of Paraguay has adopted a statement supporting sovereignty, territorial integrity and internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan.
Adopted at the plenary meeting, the statement says that Nagorno-Karabakh is part of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The statement says that Azerbaijani territories were occupied by Armenia and as a result of military operations carried out by Armenian armed forces thousands of people were killed and captured, more than one million became refugees and IDPs.
Paraguay's Chamber of Deputies expressed it respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity and internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan, urging settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions No 822, 853, 874, 884 and relevant documents of the UN General Assembly.
