A sitting of the Milli Majlis permanent commission on social policy took place on April 14.

The sitting participants discussed the issues on recognition of some laws as stale and making changes and amendments to some laws regarding the application of the law of Azerbaijan Republic “On Employment”.

Chairman of the commission Khadi Rajabli reported on the President-led bill “On Employment” to substitute stale laws - Executive order of the Supreme Council of Azerbaijan Republic “On employment in the Azerbaijan Republic” and “On standards of assignment to the Employment Fund”. He also told of the changes and amendments to the law “On serviceman status”, “On provision of citizens’ pensions” and Code of Administrative Offences. They aim at enhancing social security of the military and poor people.
