Participants of EU’s Tempus project get certificates at Azerbaijani Embassy in Netherlands
Baku, March 28 (AZERTAC). Participants of the European Union’s Tempus project were presented certificates at a ceremony held at Azerbaijan’s Embassy in the Netherlands.
The event was attended by professors at the Dutch Leiden University Bernard Steunenberg, Richard Griffiths, Rick de Ruiter and Robin van der Zee, as well as professors and teachers at the Baku State University, Khazar, Azerbaijan, Ganja State and Nakhchivan State universities.
The ultimate goal of the project generally coordinated by the Leiden University is to apply the EU’s education system and improve professional skills.
Addressing the event, Mir-Hemze Efendiyev hailed Azerbaijan-Netherlands relations and recalled President Ilham Aliyev’s recent visit to the country.
He pointed to huge potential for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of science and education.
Professor Robin van der Zee presented certificates to the participants of the project.
