Police official, 2 terrorists killed in clash in NW Pakistan

A police official and two terrorists were killed on Tuesday in a clash in Mardan district of Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Xinhua reports citing police.
According to the police, the incident took place during the early hours in Babuzai area in Mardan district of the province when the police reached the site after receiving information about the presence of the terrorists.
Upon reaching the site, an exchange of fire took place, resulting in the killing of a senior police official and two terrorists, it added.
Four other policemen, including an official and three constables, had also been injured in the clash, said the police, adding that the injured were shifted to a local hospital.
