POLISH PRESIDENT VISITED KAZAKHSTAN
As is informed, on 29 March, President of Poland Lech Kaczyński has made an official visit to Kazakhstan.
The joint statement accepted by the Polish and Kazakh presidents, states that the parties are supporters of deepening bilateral cooperation in the energy, transport, tourism fields, in the sphere of health, science, culture and others, creation of transport corridor of Central Asia-South Caucasus-Europe, maintenance of peace and stability in Europe and Asia.
At the press conference, President Nazarbayev stated: “In 2012-2015s, the volume of oil Kazakhstan is to export will double. And this urges us to find new ways to Europe. The Odessa-Brody-Gdansk project offered by Poland is one of the alternative ones.
During his visit, President Lech Kaczyński has met with Speaker of the Senate of Kazakhstan Kasimjomard Tokaev and other officials.
