PREMIER OF AZERBAIJAN MEETS CHAIRMAN OF THE POLISH SENATE
Head of the Azerbaijan Government said that the visit of such representative delegation to Azerbaijan would stimulate development of mutually beneficial relations between two countries. Speaking of high level of the political cooperation between Azerbaijan and Poland, the Premier of Azerbaijan thanked the leaders of this country for support rendered to the position of Azerbaijan on international structures. Mr. Rasizade, stressing necessity of raising commodity turnover between two countries, stated that there had been set up an inter-governmental commission to deepen economic cooperation, and created appropriate legislature.
The Premier gave to the Polish delegation detailed information on accomplishments in the national economy, the global energy and transport projects being realized in the Republic.
In meeting, also focused was the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, underlined necessity of its quick solution.
Chairman of the Polish Senate Bogdan Borusewicz, noting the leading role of Azerbaijan in region, stated that Poland, intending to ensure its energy security, is keen in establishment of cooperation with Azerbaijan in the oil and gas field. He also underlined that the Polish business circles are keen to activate their links with the Azerbaijani colleagues. The Polish National Exhibition due to open in Baku will be another bridge to establish mutually beneficial relations, he stressed.
