Presentation of “Heydar Aliyev” in Chinese held in Beijing
Beijing, December 10 (AZERTAC). A presentation of the “Heydar Aliyev” book, co-authored by Huseynbala Miralamov and Victor Andrianov in Chinese language in the series of the "Life of Remarkable People”, has been held in Beijing.
Initiated by Azerbaijan`s Embassy in China, the project was carried out as part of celebrations of the 90th jubilee of the outstanding politician, prominent statesman and national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
The book will be sent to Chinese research institutes, libraries and higher educational institutions.
The edition includes preface written by Azerbaijani Ambassador to China Latif Gandilov and China’s former vice foreign minister, chairman of international affairs research foundation Zhang Deguang.
The event to present the book took place in the building of Chinese People`s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Deputy Foreign Minister of China Chen Guopin, deputy chairman of the Association Li Chianpin, chief of Chinese Research Fund on International Affairs Gan Deguan, officials of Chinese Communist Party, ambassadors of Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, scholars and public figures attended the event. Author Huseynbala Miralamov, Azerbaijani MPs Aydin Mirzazade and Ilham Mammadov were also among participants.
Speakers in the event hailed national leader Heydar Aliyev`s merits before the Azerbaijani people, and his efforts to develop Azerbaijan-China relations. They praised the book as a valuable source for Chinese readers to learn political heritage of great leader Heydar Aliyev.
