PRESIDENT ALIYEV ATTENDING WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM IN DAVOS
This year’s forum has brought together about 2,400 participants, including over 20 heads of states and governments, about 100 ministers and top business leaders, and more than 400 researchers and representatives of civil society and NGOs.
The session was opened by Klaus Schwab, the Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum.
Speaking at the session President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev focused on the global energy projects being implemented in his country, that he said are of a great importance for the whole world.
Ilham Aliyev pointed out Azerbaijan’s daily increasing role in providing European energy security, and told of the country’s achievements in this field.
Speakers at the session also were heads of delegations of the USA, Russia, Great Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Brazil, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Norway, China, Kuwait, Kazakhstan and Belgium.
