PRESIDENT ALIYEV MEETS PRIME MINISTER OF TURKEY
President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan met the Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyp Erdogan, 9 March. At the meeting, the parties noted successful development of all-round relations between the two brotherly countries emphasizing that realization of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway projects would serve welfare, stability and security of the countries and the whole region. The parties expressed confidence in further enhancement of bilateral cooperation.
President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Recep Tayyp Erdogan stressed the great significance of the First Forum of heads of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora organizations of the World underway in Baku.
They also discussed a number of other issues of mutual interest.
