PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INAUGURATES NEW ROAD JUNCTION IN BAKU
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on March 19 officially inaugurated the road junction constructed at the crossroads of the Tbilisi Avenue and Hasanbay Zardabi Street in Baku. It is the third out of nine road junctions planned to be built in accordance with the President’s Executive Order of February 1, 2006 “On Approval of the Plan of Actions for 2006-2007 to improve transport system in the city of Baku.”
The road junction

President Ilham Aliyev highly praised the look of the bridge and its lighting system describing them as modern and beautiful. He cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the bridge.
The President also opened the tunnel running along the Tbilisi Avenue, and viewed a park laid out on its top.
“It is gratifying that all this has been done by a local company”, the

Later on the same day, President Ilham Aliyev attended a ceremony of laying the foundation stone for a new building of the Interior Ministry’s hospital named after Lieutenant-General Arif Heydarov.
It is going to be a 5-story building covering the area of 14920 square meters. The hospital, which is planned to start operating 
next year, will have 320 beds, and provide various kinds of medical services.

Then, he laid a foundation of the building by putting a time capsule into the foundation, and covering it with liquid concrete.
