PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INAUGURATES SCHOOL AFTER ACADEMICIAN ZARIFA ALIYEVA
President Ilham Aliyev has today officially inaugurated a school named after prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva in Yasamal district in Baku.
Prior to the opening ceremony, the President unveiled a bust of Zarifa Aliyeva.
In the school`s foyer, he viewed photos reflecting different periods of life and activity of the nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
The 840-seat school was built with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and meets modern standards.
President Ilham Aliyev viewed classrooms, laboratories, computer room, gym, library and sports ground.
He also familiarized himself with a memorial room of academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
