PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV MEETS CHAIRWOMAN OF HUNGARIAN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev met Tuesday with chairwoman of the Hungarian National Assembly (Parliament) Katalin Szili in Budapest.
The Hungarian speaker said her country regards Azerbaijan as its strategic partner and places particular emphasis on cooperation with it in various fields both in bilateral format and within international organizations.
She stressed Azerbaijan`s great role in providing Europe’s energy security.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of interparliamentary cooperation for further boosting Azerbaijan-Hungary relations which he said are today successfully developing.
The Azerbaijani leader noted the cooperation between the two countries` parliaments is also significant in terms of Azerbaijan`s integration into Euroatlantic structures.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence the two countries will also deepen their bilateral interparliamentary cooperation within international organizations.
