PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES GOVERNOR OF RF KURGAN OBLAST
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Oleg Bogomolov, governor of the Kurgan oblast of the Russian Federation on April 12. O. Bogomolov recalled his previous visit and meeting with national leader Heydar Aliyev. According to him, the event presided over by national leader Heydar Aliyev in 1985 in the Kurgan oblast played an important role in the economic life of the oblast. O. Bogomolov pointed out that Azerbaijani Diaspora takes an active part in the oblast’s social life.
The Head of State said Azerbaijan’s relations with Russia’s regions including Kurgan oblast would contribute to the development of Azerbaijan-Russia relationships. Azerbaijani Leader expressed hope that cooperation with Kurgan oblast will continue to develop rapidly in the future.
